In this English Literature class students will get an overview of how to write an essay for ‘The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' with today's particular assignment being  ‘How does Stevenson present the theme of duality?’ 

Students will be shown how to write about themes by commenting on genre, structure and the effects of language features as well as how to embed and explain quotations.

This session will help you to secure a GCSE grade 5 in English Language for your centre-assessed grades / teacher-assessed grades (CAG / TAG), focusing on skills that your teacher will be looking at when making a final assessment.
